Heart Attack Care | With left ventricular systolic dysfunction
Why is this important?
Left ventricular systolic dysfunction means your heart cannot pump blood efficiently. It can be managed by two kinds of drugs, angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, commonly called ACE inhibitors, and angiotensin receptor blockers, called ARBs.
Percent of heart attack patients with left ventricular systolic dysfunction who were prescribed ACE inhibitors or ARB drugs at discharge.
